Es ist gar nicht mal die Angst der Republikaner vor Trump, sondern die Angst vor seinen ca. 70 Millionen Wähler|innen und deren unkalkulierbarem Verhalten. Schließlich wollen oder möchten die Senator|innen nächstes Jahr wieder gewählt werden – mit den Stimmen natürlich eben der Trump-Wähler|innen. Mit dem mächtigen ‚Pfund‘ in der Hand wird der offensichtlich kriminelle Ex-Prädident entsprechenden Druck machen. Ob ihm dann seine ach so treue Wählerschaft noch treu ist, liegt an den Ergebnissen der Politik Bidens.

Navigationslos auf hoher See oder doch eher in ruhigeren Fahrwassern? Was für eine Frage…

Das Überstehen seines zweiten Impeachement-Verfahrens lässt den Narzissten jetzt schon wieder krakeelen. Alle sind blöd, nur er als Naturgenie hatte ja schon immer in Allem Recht. Nur – nach seiner Präsidentschaft ist er wieder Zivilperson und genießt damit keine Innunität mehr. Es wird sicherlich oder hoffentlich strafrechtliche Folgen für ihn haben – in einer Weise, in der ihm sein großkotziges Grinsen und Lachen im Halse steckenbleiben könnte. Lässt man ihn ‚laufen‘, dann wäre das ein Präzedenzfall für mögliche Zügellosigkeiten künftiger Präsidenten. Aus der Sicht war das durchaus umstrittene zweite Impeachement-Verfahren eine demokratische Notwendigkeit im Sinne der Erhaltung der Werte und der Glaubwürdigkeit einer demokratischen Staatsordnung. Zumal sich China schon für seine zentralistisch kommunistische und sich für sie als überlegen herausgestellte Staatsform selber lobt. Szenen, wie die vom 06.Januar 2021 vor und im Kapitol wird es so in Peking sicherlich nicht geben. In einem alles sehenden und kontrollierenden System wäre das auch immer noch mehr als unrealistisch.

Ich persönlich gehe davon aus, dass die US-Republikaner mit dem ‚Nicht-schuldig-Spruch‘ einen Spagat hingelegt haben. Einerseits vergraulen sie nicht die Trump-Wählerschaft, weil sie ihn eben für nichtschuldig erklären; andererseits könnte das der Beginn einer sich ausschleichenden Anhängerschaft von ihrem ‚Popularitäts-Guru‘ sein, den so mancher von ihnen nicht mehr auf der politischen Einflussbühne sehen möchte. Eine nichtkalkulierbare Abfolge. Ob die Rechnung aufgeht, falls es eine ist?

Ja.. und das Grinsen, Lachen und Feixen Trumps (immer noch in den ihm verbliebenen Medien) tut schon nur beim Zuschauen richtig weh. Jeder Gangster und jeder Kleinkriminelle wird ihn beneiden, weil er einfach mit seinem Gebaren und seinen ‚Untaten‘ durchzukommen scheint. Enttarnt und quasi überführt und trotzdem immer noch frei. Was für ein Held für sie…

Trump – der Ikarus? Es ist schon eine markante Fallhöhe… Noch ist das Sprungtuch gespannt….

From the point of view, the thoroughly controversial second impeachment was a democratic necessity in the sense of preserving the values and credibility of a democratic state order. Especially since China already praises itself for its centralist communist form of government, which it has proven to be superior to. Scenes, like those of 06.January 2021 before and in the Capitol will not give it in such a way in Peking surely. Demokraten und Republikaner in den USA stehen sich regelrecht feindlich gegenüber.

Der ‚unipolare Moment‘, also die schier grenzenlose, imperiale Machtausbreitung der USA, ist vorbei. Die machtpolitische Konkurrenz wird zunehmend größer. Die Weltpolizei USA sieht sich der Tatsache gegenüber, dass im eigenen Land immer noch gesellschaftliche Probleme (Rassismus, Gewalt, Spaltung, religiöser Fundamentalismus usw.) nicht nur brodeln, sondern offen weiter wachsen. Die Schwerpunkte in Richtung ‚Inneres‘ verlagern sich nicht erst seit Trumps ‚America-first‘ – Irrsinn, nein, bereits Obamas Priorität war die ‚innere Erneuerung‘. Das wird sich bei Biden nicht ändern. Aber immerhin im Ton gezähmt …

Die USA sind politisch in zwei große Lager (Parteien) gespalten, die sich nahezu feindlich gegenüberstehen. Jede Seite bezeichnet sich als das ‚wahre Amerika‘ und zieht klare Grenzen gegenüber der anderen. Für die eine Seite ist das ‚Maske-tragen‘ unpatriotisch, während es für die andere Seite ein Sache der Vernunft ist. Darüber im Angesicht der hunderttausenden Corona-Toten zu streiten, ist tatsächlich schwer oder nicht verstehbar. Eine Gesellschaft, die im Inneren einen regelrechten ‚Stammeskrieg‘ führt und noch keine messbaren Erfolge zu dessen Beendigung vorweisen kann, ist geschwächt und verwundbar – zum Ansporn der aufstrebenden Weltmächte. Das ist die Hinterlassenschaft eines narzisstischen Präsidenten und die höchstpriorisierte Aufgabe seines Nachfolgers – nach der Eindämmung der Corona-Pandemie.

Die Wissenschaften werden Mittel zur Bekämpfung der Covid-19-Pandemie erforschen – die Politik hat die verhärtete Stammesbildung (Tribialisierung) zu lockern und ein Einheitsgefühl zu fördern und zu erreichen. Es ist -sicherlich nicht nur für mich- absolut unverständlich, dass der Ex-Präsident Trump mit seiner zügellosen Spaltung der US-amerikanischen Gesellschaft ungeschoren davonkommt. Er, vom Stamme der gewissenlosen Egomanen, lacht sich ins Fäustchen über die unterwanderte Judikative und die von ihm offengelegten Schwachstellen der parlamentarischen Demokratie, die mehr Verstand voraussetzt als seinen Mangel daran. Wenn er in seinem Luxusleben zur nächsten Wahlschlacht wieder antreten darf (das wird er selber bestimmen), dann ist der Niedergang der Weltmacht USA vorprogrammiert. Dann sind all seine Machenschaften belohnt – dann kann er wirklich machen, was er will. Das wäre Udo Lindenbergs ‚US-Gangsterdemokratie‘ von der LP ‚Galaxo-Gang‘. Die vergangenen vier Jahre waren ein Vorgeschmack davon.

Trump- der ‚Onkel‘ des Neo-Tribalismus… Die ihm noch folgenden Republikaner und das von ihm geblendete Wählervolk sollten (und müssen) zur Kenntnis nehmen, dass die Erde keine Scheibe ist und dass Waffen nicht vor der Erkenntnis schützen…

Democrats and Republicans in the USA are downright hostile to each other.

The ‚unipolar moment‘, i.e. the almost limitless, imperial expansion of power by the USA, is over. Power-political competition is becoming increasingly fierce. The USA, the world’s police force, is faced with the fact that social problems (racism, violence, division, religious fundamentalism, etc.) are not only still simmering in its own country, but are openly growing. The focus is shifting towards ‚domestic‘ not only since Trump’s ‚America-first‘ insanity, no, Obama’s priority was already ‚domestic renewal‘. That will not change with Biden. But at least the tone has been tamed …

The USA is politically divided into two large camps (parties) that are almost hostile to each other. Each side calls itself the ‚true America‘ and draws clear lines against the other. For one side, ‚mask-wearing‘ is unpatriotic, while for the other it is a matter of common sense. To argue about this in the face of hundreds of thousands of Corona deaths is indeed difficult or impossible to understand. A society that is engaged in outright ‚tribal warfare‘ internally and has yet to show measurable success in ending it is weakened and vulnerable – to the spur of rising world powers. This is the legacy of a narcissistic president and the highest priority task of his successor – after the containment of the Corona pandemic.

The sciences will research means to fight the Covid 19 pandemic – politics has to loosen the hardened tribalism (tribialization) and to promote and achieve a sense of unity. It is -certainly not only for me- absolutely incomprehensible that ex-president Trump gets away scot-free with his rampant division of the US society. He, of the tribe of conscienceless egomaniacs, laughs up his sleeve at the subverted judiciary and the weaknesses of parliamentary democracy he has exposed, which presupposes more intellect than his lack of it. If, in his life of luxury, he is allowed to run again in the next election battle (which he will determine himself), then the downfall of the USA as a world power is pre-programmed. Then all his machinations are rewarded – then he can really do what he wants. That would be Udo Lindenberg’s ‚US Gangster Democracy‘ from the LP ‚Galaxo Gang‘. The past four years were a foretaste of it.

Der ‚Hobby-Präsident‘ hat sich davon geschlichen und sich in einer skurrilen Abschiedszeremonie in Florida noch einmal als den ‚betrogenen Präsidenten‘ sowohl feiern lassen als auch sich selber gefeiert. Wenn jemand -egal wer- einen Trümmerhaufen hinterlässt und seine Arbeit auch noch glorifiziert, dann erkennt ein denkender Mensch, dass das keine Arbeit war, sondern unqualifizierter Mist. Seine Anwesenheit bei der Inauguration Bidens hätte seine Anhängerschaft wohl als ‚Verrat‘ betrachtet. Fairness war ja absolut nicht seine Stärke. Er hat die ‚Suppe‘ hoch-und übergekocht und sich dann verpi….. Wenn er seinem ‚Hobby‘ nicht mehr nachgehen darf, dann sollen die Anderen doch den angerichteten Trümmerhaufen beseitigen. Für ihn war das alles ‚großartig‘ und ‚genial‘. Nur… da ist ja noch die Justiz. Wie ich gelesen habe (FAZ), sind Begnadigungen nicht öffentlich anzeigepflichtig. Im Klartext: Er könnte seine eigene Begnadigung in der Hinterhand halten und bei Bedarf als Joker einsetzen. Ein System, das sowas erlaubt und möglich macht, ist reformbedürftig.

Und da ist ja noch das zweite Impeachement. Wenn sich die Republikaner im Senat nun endgültig dazu durchringen und sich von diesem gefährlichen Troll trennen, dann besteht die Möglichkeit, das der kein politisches Amt mehr bekleiden darf. Mit Sicherheit nicht nur für mich wäre es das Horrorszenario, wenn diese Niete in den nächsten Wahlkampf zieht, seine Anhänger wieder mobilisiert und diesen Planeten wieder in Angst und Schrecken versetzt.

In der Überschrift bezeichne ich den Abgang des wohl inkompetentesten US-Präsidenten der Geschichte (zumindest einer davon) als blamabel. Das ist ein Euphemismus. Ich nenne nicht einmal mehr seinen Namen, der auch während der Inauguration Bidens nicht ein Mal fiel. Aus der Sicht war seine Abwesenheit schon ‚begrüßenswert‘. Er hätte gestört. Auf eine solche Bühne gehört so einer nicht. Dabei hat er vielleicht oder besser tatsächlich gezeigt, dass das das falsche Umfeld für ihn war und bleiben wird.

When someone -anyone- leaves behind a pile of rubble and glorifies his work as well, a thinking person recognizes that it was not work, but unqualified crap. His presence at Biden’s inauguration would probably have been considered a ‚betrayal‘ by his supporters. Fairness, after all, was absolutely not his strong suit. He boiled the ’soup‘ up and over, and then verpi….. If he is no longer allowed to pursue his ‚hobby‘, then the others should clean up the mess. For him it was all ‚great‘ and ‚ingenious‘. Only… there is still the justice. As I read (FAZ), pardons are not subject to public announcement. In plain language: He could keep his own pardon up his sleeve and use it as a wild card if needed. A system that allows and makes such things possible is in need of reform.

And there’s the second impeachment. If the Republicans in the Senate now finally bring themselves to part with this dangerous troll, then there is the possibility that he will no longer be allowed to hold political office. Certainly not only for me it would be the horror scenario if this rivet moves 2024 in the election campaign, mobilizes his followers again and puts this planet again in fear and terror.

In the headline, I refer to the departure of arguably the most incompetent U.S. president in history (at least one of them) as embarrassing. That’s a euphemism. I don’t even mention his name anymore, which didn’t come up once even during Biden’s inauguration. From the point of view, his absence was already ‚welcome‘. He would have disturbed. Such a person does not belong on such a stage. He may have shown, or rather actually showed, that this was and will remain the wrong environment for him.

Anarchie und bürgerkriegsähnliche Zustände. Der sog. Mob im Kapitol – das ist das Ergebnis des Trumpismus. Von Trump aufgerufen und ermuntert, versammeln sich Tausende vor dem Kapitol und Einige davon stürmen es letztendlich. Das Parlament – das Herz einer Demokratie. Eine Frau wurde von der Polizei angeschossen und starb. Weitere starben vor dem Kapitol. Vandalismus, Hass und Gewalt – immer und immer wieder von Trump angeheizt… über Jahre. Ob das den Straftatbestand der Volksverhetzung erfüllt, wissen Juristen besser. Seine ‚Taten‘ werden mit Sicherheit aufgelistet sein und die Staatsanwälte werden hochmotiviert an die Aufarbeitung gehen, wenn dieser commander-in-chief seine Immunität an dem Tag verliert, an dem er das Weiße Haus zu räumen hat – am 20.Januar 2021.

Das, was am 06.Januar 2021 -w.o. kurz beschrieben- in Washington geschah, sollte dazu führen, den 20. Januar nicht mehr abzuwarten. Er sollte festgenommen werden, um weiteren Schaden von der Demokratie und dem Volk abzuwenden. Ob das überhaupt möglich ist, können wiederum nur Juristen beantworten. Für mich sind Demagogie und Volksverhetzung und Aufwiegelung auch als Laie erkennbar und schon in diversen Beiträgen hier im Blog dokumentiert.

Denn: Wer weiß, was er in den verbleibenden zwei Wochen seiner Amtszeit noch so alles anzettelt? Da sollte weitsichtig und nachhaltig gehandelt werden… Es darf und wird wohl nicht übersehen, dass dieser Präsident -wie gesagt- der commender-in-chief ist, der Oberbefehlshaber der US-Streitkräfte und damit auch des Neklearpotenzials. Man darf bei dem Satz die Luft anhalten.

Demissioniert und verhaftet ihn. Sofort. Er ist ein Krimineller, ein uneinsichtiger Pate, der bei der richterlichen Gewalt und anschließendem Vollzug richtig und gut aufgehoben ist. Der Rechtsstaat ist im Ausnahmezustand.

So mancher Trump-Fan wird eingesehen haben oder noch einsehen, dass die ‚Politik‘ des Spaltens und der Scharfmacherei zu dem geführt hat, was sich vor und im Kapitol abgespielt hat – Anarchie. Dem Präsidenten noch zwei Wochen Zeit zu lassen, ist nicht verantwortbar.

Ist das zu reparieren? Das liegt am neuen Gespann im Weißen Haus. Ich bin und bleibe zuversichtlich …

Anarchy and civil war-like conditions. The so-called mob in the Capitol – this is the result of Trumpism. Called and encouraged by Trump, thousands gather in front of the Capitol and some of them eventually storm it. The parliament – the heart of a democracy. One woman was shot by police and died. Others died in front of the Capitol. Vandalism, hate and violence – fueled over and over again by Trump…. for years. Whether this qualifies as incitement of the people is a crime, lawyers know better. His ‚deeds‘ will certainly be listed and prosecutors will be highly motivated to get to work on them when this commander-in-chief loses his immunity on the day he has to vacate the White House – Jan. 20, 2021.

That, what happened on 06.January 2021 -w.above briefly described- in Washington, should lead not to wait for the 20th January any longer. He should be arrested, in order to avert further damage from the democracy and the people. Again, only lawyers can answer whether this is possible at all. For me, demagogy and incitement of the people and sedition are recognizable even as a layman and already documented in various posts here on the blog.

After all, who knows what else he will instigate in the remaining 2 weeks of his term of office? There should be a far-sighted and sustainable action… It must not and will not be overlooked that this president -as said- is the commender-in-chief, the commander-in-chief of the U.S. armed forces and thus also of the nuclear potential. One may hold one’s breath at the sentence.

Demit and arrest him. Immediately. He is a criminal, an undiscerning godfather who is in good and proper hands with the judicial power and subsequent execution. The rule of law is in a state of emergency.

Many a Trump supporter will have realized, or still realize, that the politics of divisiveness and stridentness have led to what has taken place in front of and inside the Capitol – anarchy. Giving the president two more weeks is not responsible.

Can it be fixed? That’s up to the new team in the White House. I am and remain confident …

Ob das eine eigene Wortkreation ist, wage ich nicht zu behaupten. Wahrscheinlich nicht. Unter dem Wortkonstrukt lässt sich alles damit Zusammenhängende vereinen: Die Infizierten, Nichtinfizierten, die an und mit dem Virus Verstorbenen†, Geimpften, Nichtgeimpften, das politische Management, der Lockdown, die eingeschränkte Freiheit des Einzelnen, die Leugner, das Halb- und auch Unwissen der Seelenfänger und Unruhestifter, der Verschwörungstheoretiker, sowohl maskulin als auch feminin, deren Dummheit und Arroganz die Infizierten und selbst die Toten ignoriert, usw……

Ja.. und plötzlich fangen einem näherstehende Menschen an, wirres und abstruses Zeug zu reden und zu behaupten. Verschwörungstheorien vom Erreichen der Weltherrschaft (mit dem Virus als Mittel zum Zweck z.B.) sind nicht neu, grassieren aber in unkalkulierbaren Zeiten und haben eigentlich nur eine Ursache: Angst, die dem Benutzen des eigenen Verstandes im Wege steht und unreflektiert nachplappern lässt, was selbsternannte Besserwisser ihnen suggerieren. Je größer das Unwissen des oder der Einzelnen, desto heftiger die Vehemenz des behaupteten und gefährlichen Unsinns. Allein weitergehende Informationen und eigenes Hinterfragen können zur eigenen Wichtung führen. Das ist die Metapher des ‚kühlen Kopfes‘. Der einfachste Weg in der Auseinandersetzung mit dieser Coronakrise ist für Einige (wohl nicht Viele) das spontane Aufspringen auf den irrationalen Gaul irgendeiner Verschwörungstheorie wie der vorher genannten. Als könne man das (bestrittene) Virus lautstark wegdemonstrieren… (Ein alter Spruch: ‚Herr, lass Hirn regnen…‘).

Diese Pandemie in den Griff zu bekommen, beruht nicht auf konkreten Erfahrungswerten. Diverse Säulen stützen aber sichtbare Möglichkeiten: Maske tragen, Abstand halten, impfen, Solidarität und Empathie, besonnene Politik der Entscheider und einen ‚Plan‘ für das ‚Danach‘ im nachhaltigen Sinne. Es ist wie bei der ‚EDV‘ in den Anfang 90er Jahren: ‚Probieren Sie mal das und dann das….‘.

Auf wissenschaftlicher Grundlage und Forschung ist der Silberstreif hinter den dunklen Wolken erkennbar: Impfen. Der Erfahrungswert dieser Pandemie wird in einer ähnlichen Situation zukünftig unersetzbar sein – und nicht die Gefährdung der Allgemeinheit durch gewissen- und geistlose Gröhlerei.

I don’t dare to say whether this is a word creation of my own. Probably not. Everything connected with it can be united under the word construct: The infected, the uninfected, those who died of and with the virus, the vaccinated, the unvaccinated, the political management, the lockdown, the restricted freedom of the individual, the deniers, the half-knowledge and also the ignorance of the soul-catchers and troublemakers, the conspiracy theorists, both masculine and feminine, whose stupidity and arrogance ignores the infected and even the dead, etc……

Yes… and suddenly people closer to you start to talk and claim crazy and abstruse stuff. Conspiracy theories about achieving world domination (with the virus as a means to an end, for example), are not new, but they are rampant in incalculable times and actually have only one cause: fear, which stands in the way of using one’s own intellect and makes people parrot unreflectively what self-appointed know-it-alls suggest to them. The greater the ignorance of the individual, the more vehement the claimed and dangerous nonsense. Only further information and own questioning can lead to the own weighting. This is the metaphor of the ‚cool head‘. The easiest way in dealing with this Corona crisis for some (probably not many) is to spontaneously jump on the irrational horse of some conspiracy theory like the one mentioned before. As if one could loudly demonstrate away the (disputed) virus…. (An old saying: ‚Lord, let brains rain…‘).

Getting a grip on this pandemic is not based on concrete empirical data. However, various pillars support visible possibilities: Wear a mask, keep your distance, vaccinate, solidarity and empathy, prudent policy of the decision makers and a ‚plan‘ for the ‚after‘ in a sustainable sense. It is like the ‚EDP‘ in the early 90s: ‚Try this and then that….‘.

Based on science and research, the silver lining behind the dark clouds is visible: vaccination. The experience value of this pandemic will be irreplaceable in a similar situation in the future – and not the endangerment of the general public by conscientious and mindless grumbling.

Nicht Denkpflicht statt Maskenpflicht, wobei das Erste dabei das Zweite ausschließen soll. Beides zu separieren, ist in dieser Coronazeit gefährlicher Unsinn. Denken ist nicht prüfbar – Maske tragen schon. Die wörtliche Reihenfolge in der Überschrift und die Kombination der Imperative verdeutlicht, dass Menschen sowohl gedacht haben als auch denken. Obwohl .. Maske tragen, ohne vorher darüber nachgedacht -konsequent nachgedacht- zu haben, ist denkbar. Nicht einmal die Verbindung ist vorhanden, wenn Menschen das Masketraden ablehnen und der lautstarken Meinung sind, gedacht zu haben und sich als solche darstellen, die quer denken. Schließt die suggerierte Korrelation das Tragen einer Maske aus? Mitnichten, wie soeben erkannt. Quer denken erhebt den intellektuellen Anspruch des alternativen Denkens und vermittelt den Eindruck des möglich Besseren – im Falle der ‚Querdenker-Bewegung‘ ohne Substanz.

Dagegen zu protestieren, geschützt und damit geholfen zu werden, ist nicht nur kurzsichtig, sondern gefährlicher Unsinn – ja Anarchie. Das Durchsetzen einer nicht durchdachten und geplanten Massensuggestion ist prinzipiell Zersetzung. Das Inkaufnehmen der eigenen Infektion und der Gefährdung Anderer durch Nicht-oder Halbwissen in einer Pandemie hat nichts mehr mit der Aufgabe der persönlichen Freiheit des Einzelnen zutun. Es ist ganz einfach gesagt: Verantwortungslosigkeit. Juristen könnten das gezielter zuordnen. Verhaltensweisen, die die Gesundheit aller gefährden und sogar den Tod bedeuten können, was in zuvielen Fällen Fakt ist, sollten strafrechtliche Folgen für die Verursacher haben. Das ist die Fürsorgepflicht des Staates und kein Abgleiten in eine Diktatur.

Abstand, Masken und Impfen sind die eigentlichen ‚Querdenkweisen‘ und nicht die der sogenannten ‚Möchtegern-Querdenker‘, die eine Gefährdung für die denkende Mehrheit der Bevölkerung sind und gegen die der Rechtsstaat Recht sprechen sollte. Mit Recht.

The literal order in the heading and the combination of imperatives makes it clear that people have thought as well as think. Although … Wearing mask without having thought -consistently thought- about it first is conceivable. Not even the correlation is present when people reject masquerading and are of the vociferous opinion that they have thought and present themselves as having thought laterally. Does the suggested correlation preclude wearing a mask? Not at all, as has just been recognized. Thinking laterally raises the intellectual claim of alternative thinking and conveys the impression of the possible better – in the case of the ‚lateral thinking movement‘ without substance.

To protest against this, to be protected and thus helped, is not only short-sighted, but dangerous nonsense – even anarchy. The enforcement of a not thought-out and planned mass suggestion is in principle decomposition. Accepting one’s own infection and the endangerment of others through ignorance or half-knowledge in a pandemic no longer has anything to do with giving up the personal freedom of the individual. It is quite simply said: irresponsibility. Lawyers could assign this more specifically. Behavior that endangers the health of all and can even mean death, which is a fact in too many cases, should have criminal consequences for those responsible. This is the state’s duty of care, not a slide into dictatorship.

Distance, masks and vaccination are the real ‚lateral thinking‘ and not that of the so-called ‚would-be lateral thinkers‘, who are a danger to the thinking majority of the population and against whom the rule of law should dispense justice. Rightly so.

Der noch amtierende US-Präsident zeigt den Anschein, dass er als der Präsident in die Geschichte eingehen möchte/will, der deutlich und hart gegen die Kriminalität vorgegangen ist. Und immer noch vorgeht…

In den einzelnen Staaten –besonders in Texas– wurden und werden Todesstrafen vollstreckt. Vom ‚Bund‘ (Staat) wurden seit 17 Jahren keine Hinrichtungen mehr angeordnet (FAZ). Unter Trump änderte sich das. (Genaue Zahlen in der FAZ oder anderen Medien). Gerade in diesem Jahr begann die Regierung von Donald Trump wieder mit den Exekutionen. Vor einer Woche starb ein 40-Jähriger durch eine Giftspritze, der bei seiner Tat 18 Jahre alt war. Seine Taten waren schändlich, rechtfertigen aber nicht die unmenschlichste aller Strafen.

Trumps Regierung richtete im Jahr 2020 zehn Menschen hin und seit seiner Wahlniederlage drei. Wie ich las, will Trump noch mindestens drei Delinquenten bis zu seinem ersehnten Ende im Weißen Haus hinrichten lassen. Als Herrscher über Leben und Tod, der niemals verlieren will, und der seine Wahlniederlage nicht und nach seinen Worten niemals eingestehen will und wird. Quasi von einem erwiesenen ‚asshole‘, gerichtet zu werden, zeigt, dass die Todesstrafe auch in den USA endlich abgeschafft werden sollte – ja muss! Nicht nur in den USA, sondern weltweit!

Die Todesstrafe ist nicht mehr zeitgemäß (das war sie noch nie !!). Kein weltlicher Richter oder Entscheider hat das Recht, das Ende des physischen Lebens eines Menschen anzuordnen. (Ich schließe da auch Tiere mit ein, was allgemeines Kopfschütteln erzeugt, mich aber unbeirrt nicht stört).

Das Barbarentum herscht immer noch in den USA. Dass die Todesstrafe nicht die ‚gewünschte‘ Abschreckung bringt, ist erwiesen. Eine ‚führende‘ Gesellschaft sollte die Todesstrafe sofort abstellen, um ethisch glaubhaft zu sein oder -wie in diesem Fall- zu werden.

The still sitting U.S. President shows the appearance that he wants/wants to go down in history as the President who clearly and harshly cracked down on crime. And still does…

In the individual states -especially in Texas- death sentences were and are executed. No executions have been ordered by the ‚federal government‘ (state) for 17 years (FAZ). Under Trump this changed. (Exact numbers in FAZ or other media). Just this year, Donald Trump’s administration started executions again. A week ago, a 40-year-old died by lethal injection, who was 18 years old when he committed his crime. His actions were shameful, but do not justify the most inhumane of punishments.

Trump’s administration executed ten people in 2020 and three since his election defeat. As I read, Trump wants to execute at least three more delinquents until his desired end in the White House. As a ruler over life and death, who never wants to lose, and who will not and, according to his words, will never admit his election defeat. Quasi by a proven ‚asshole‘, to be judged, shows that the death penalty should be abolished also in the USA finally – yes must! Not only in the USA, but worldwide!

The death penalty is out of date (it never was !!). No secular judge or decision maker has the right to order the end of the physical life of a human being. (I include also animals there, which generates general head shaking, but does not disturb me unperturbed).

Barbarism still reigns in the USA. That the death penalty does not bring the ‚desired‘ deterrence is proven. A ‚leading‘ society should immediately abolish the death penalty in order to be or -as in this case- become ethically credible.

Ist es die republikanische Angst vor den noch möglichen Konsequenzen während der Noch-Amtszeit des Narzisstentrolls aus ihren Reihen?  Der verhökert gerade noch den Rest der ältesten Demokratie dieses Planeten – das durch den Präsidenten beschmutzte US – Tafelsilber der Demokratie.

Mit welchen Methoden da wohl vorgegangen wird? Gelangt das nach der Aufhebung der Immunität Trumps an die Öffentlichkeit? Es liegt dann wohl an Biden. Sollte er Trump und damit dessen kriminelle Machenschaften begnadigen, dann schwindet so mancher Glaube an -wie auch immer- Gerechtigkeit. Werden der Judikative durch einen solchen Akt die Hände gebunden, dann transportiert Biden das Tafelsilber auch noch persönlich in die Schmelze.

Geht alles seinen (normalen) Gang, dann wird sicherlich sofort von Rache gefaselt. Was für ein Unsinn.

Das Niveau der USA wurde von ihrem commander-in-chief nicht nur beschädigt und heruntergezogen, sondern der Lächerlichkeit preisgegeben. Über 70 Millionen Trumpwähler/innen haben sich hinter die Fichte führen lassen von einem, der sie nur als ihm dienliches Wahlvolk benutzt und dann fallen lässt, wenn irgendetwas nicht nach seiner ‚Mütze‘ läuft… oder einfach nur, weil Montag oder Donnerstag ist. Die Tatenlosigkeit in der Pandemie spricht eine deutliche Sprache. Das ist buchstäbliches ‚Uber-Leichen-Gehen‘. Unterlassene Hilfeleistung ist eine harmlose Bezeichnung dafür.

Es ist die Zersetzung des Anstandes. So Manches wird da noch an den Tag gebracht und diesen Blender dahin bringen, wo er immer stilgerecht angezogen ist.

The president does not give up.

Is it the Republican fear of the consequences that might still be possible while the narcissist troll from their ranks is still in office? He is just about to flog the rest of the oldest democracy on the planet – the presidential-stained US silverware of democracy.

What methods are used to do this? Will this be made public after Trump’s immunity is lifted? Then it is up to Biden. If he should pardon Trump and with it his criminal machinations, then many a belief in – however-deception of decency disappears. If the hands of the judiciary are tied by such an act, Biden will personally transport the silverware into the smelter.

If everything goes its (normal) course, then revenge will surely be fanned immediately – what nonsense.

The level of the USA was not only damaged and pulled down by its commander-in-chief, but exposed to ridicule. More than 70 million trump voters have been led behind the spruce by someone who uses them only as his constituents and then drops them when something doesn’t go his way… or simply because it’s Monday or Thursday. The inaction in the pandemic speaks a clear language. This is literally ‚walking over dead bodies‘. Failure to provide assistance is a harmless term for this.

It is the decomposition of decency. There are many things that are brought to light and bring this dazzler to where he is always dressed in style.

Merkwürdig ist, dass das Grundrecht Freiheit auch dann noch kompromisslos über den Schutz der Allgemeinheit gestellt wird, wenn eine öffentliche Gefährdungslage vorliegt. Freiheit geht als Normalfall prinzipiell über alles – für jeden Menschen. Eine Pandemie ist aber kein Normalfall. Wie jeder weiß, macht das Covid-19-Virus keinen Unterschied darin, wen es befällt. Denn – es kann nicht ‚denken‘ und bewusst selektieren. Das alles zu ignorieren und/oder gar abzustreiten, ist fahrlässig und eine Gefahr für die Allgemeinheit. Eine bewusste Gefährdung der Mitmenschen, wenn die bekannten Vorsichtsmaßnahmen nicht eingehalten oder ganz ignoriert werden, wird besserwisserisch in Kauf genommen, sofern das überhaupt so gesehen wird.

Der Regierung wird unterstellt, die Bürger zu kontrollieren, zu bevormunden und ihnen petit à petit (Schritt für Schritt) die Freiheit zu nehmen. Eine Regierung zu kontrollieren, ist Aufgabe des Parlamentes und der Opposition, nicht gewaltsam auf der Straße. (Friedliche Demonstrationen sind ein Grundrecht und hier nicht gemeint). Nur… wenn die Opposition teilweise Verschwörungstheorien -natürlich aus reinem Eigeninteresse- folgt und die Saat der Unvernunft sät, dann ist das Wind in den Segeln von Leuten, die auf den Straßen den Unfrieden, Hass und Gewalt schüren und anzetteln. Das ist dann kein Querdenken, sondern Nicht- oder ‚Blenddenken‘. Erforderliche, wissenschaftlich empfohlene  Schutzmaßnahmen nicht zu ergreifen, wäre ein glattes Versäumnis einer, dieser Regierung. Das wären dann amerikanische Verhältnisse. Deren Präsident unternimmt so gut wie nichts, bejammert sich selber und setzt bei seinen Gefolgsleuten Verständnis und Akzeptanz dafür voraus.

Vergleichbar? Warum nicht… Wer dabei wer ist, ist sicherlich eindeutig. Lautes Krähen mit Unwissenheit und der Gefährdung Anderer ist unverantwortlich und bedarf der argumentativen Gegenreaktion derer, die die unberechenbare Pandemie als solche erkannt haben und sich entsprechend verhalten.

Für einen ‚harten‘ Shutdown wären die Weihnachtszeit und der Jahreswechsel die richtige Zeit mit den wenigsten Kompromissen in (fast) jeder Hinsicht.

Das ist -aus meiner Sicht- eine sinnvolle und geradlinige Denkweise im Interesse aller. Es ist Zeit…

It is strange that the fundamental right of freedom is still placed uncompromisingly above the protection of the general public even when a public danger situation exists. Freedom as a normal case is in principle above everything – for every human being. But a pandemic is not a normal case. As everyone knows, the Covid 19 virus makes no difference to whom it affects. Because – it cannot ‚think‘ and consciously select. Ignoring all this and/or even denying it is negligent and a danger for the general public. A conscious endangerment of fellow men, if the known precautions are not kept or completely ignored, is better-knowingly accepted, if it is even seen that way.

The government is accused of controlling and patronizing the citizens and taking away their freedom petit à petit (little by little). Controlling a government is the task of parliament and the opposition, not forcibly on the streets. (Peaceful demonstrations are a basic right and are meant here). Only… if the opposition partly follows conspiracy theories – naturally out of pure self-interest – and sows the seeds of unreason, then the wind is in the sails of people who stir up and instigate discord, hatred and violence on the streets. This is then no lateral thinking, but non- or ‚dazzling thinking‘. Not to take necessary, scientifically recommended protective measures would be a complete failure of one, this government. That would then be American conditions. Its president does almost nothing, complains about himself and assumes that his followers understand and accept this. Comparable? Why not? Who is who in this is certainly clear.

Loud crowing with ignorance and endangering others is irresponsible and requires the argumentative counter-reaction of those who have recognized the unpredictable pandemic as such and act accordingly.

For a ‚hard‘ shutdown, Christmas and the turn of the year would be the right time with the least compromise in (almost) every respect.

This is – from my point of view – a sensible and straightforward way of thinking in the interest of all. It is time…

Zitat: „Deshalb sprechen sie über den 25. Verfassungszusatz. Drei Wochen, drei Wochen und Joe wird erschossen. Auf geht’s Kamala, bist du bereit? Die politisch linkste Person im Senat. Neben ihr sieht Bernie Sanders aus wie ein seriöser Konservativer.“

War der Name ‚Kamala‘ nur ein Anhängsel? Oder bezog sich ‚Auf geht’s‘ auf den Satz davor? Oder meinte Trump, dass Biden nach drei Wochen dermaßen mental krank sei, dass er sein Amt nicht mehr ausführen könne und dann Kamala Harris übernehme. 

Zitat: Trump über Harris: „Das darf nicht passieren. Sie wird nicht die erste Präsidentin der USA. Wir werden irgendwann eine Präsidentin haben. Aber nicht Kamala Harris.“

Nun kann man denken, dass sei unüberlegtes Geplapper, doch… was soll das mit den ‚drei Wochen‘? Warum die Wortwahl (‚erschossen‘), wenn auch Trump in seiner Niederfrequenz genau weiß, dass das durchaus als Aufruf zum Attentat auf Biden gelten könnte. Ein denkbares Faktum? Das wäre die bisherige Krönung des Kriminellen im Weißen Haus. Die Wahl hat er nicht gewonnen, will das nicht wahrhaben, und nun spekuliert er über die Ermordung seines Besiegers Biden?

Die Worte eines Präsidenten werden nicht nur öffentlich anders gewichtet, als z.B. meine. (OK.. ein echter Lacher). Er weiß, was er sagt. Und genau deshalb lässt die Wortwahl des US-Präsidenten aufhorchen. Zugegeben .. dem traue ich alles zu. In schmutzigen, nahezu mafiösen ‚Dingen‘ scheint er sich ja offensichtlich bestens auszukennen. Das hat er knallhart von seinem Vater Fred gelernt, doch so ein flachstes Niveau auf höchstem Posten … da sollten sich seine Anhänger/Wähler die Frage stellen, ob sie das bei der nächsten Wahl (2024) wiederholt sehen wollen. Denn das scheint er zu planen. 

Ich hoffe großzügig, dass ihm seine Wortwahl nicht einmal auf die Füße fällt. Widerlich noch zu steigern (ein Pleonasmus) wäre abscheulich. Soweit gehe ich hier nicht. Doch seine o.g. Wortwahl hinterlässt eine fassungslose Eiseskälte… Seine ‚Sleeper‘ werden das gegenteilig sehen…

Now you might think that this is ill-considered babble, but… what’s the point of the ‚three weeks‘? Why the choice of words (’shot‘), when Trump knows in his low frequency that this could well be a call to assassinate Biden. A conceivable fact? That would be the previous crowning glory of the criminal in the White House. He did not win the election, refuses to admit it, and now he speculates on the assassination of his defeater Biden?

The words of a president are not only publicly weighted differently than mine, for example. (OK… a real laugh). He knows what he is saying. And that is exactly why the choice of words of the US president makes people sit up and take notice. Admittedly … I trust him with everything. He obviously seems to know his way around dirty, almost mafia-like ‚things‘. He learned this from his father Fred, but such a low level at the highest post … his supporters/voters should ask themselves if they want to see this again in the next election (2024). Because that is what he seems to be planning.

I generously hope that his choice of words will not even fall on his feet. To increase disgustingly (a pleonasm) would be disgusting. I am not going that far here. But his choice of words above leaves a stunned icy cold… His ’sleepers‘ will see the opposite…

Es war mir mehr als klar, dass sich dieser gewissenlose Zyklop im Weißen Haus verschanzt und soviel Schaden anrichten wird, wie möglich. Z.B.dem unbestrittenen Nachfolger so viele Steine wie möglich in den Weg zu legen. 

Die Viertelmillion Coronatoten in den USA ordnet er seinem kaum steigerbaren Narzissmus unter und verdeutlicht mehr als eindeutig, dass der 20. Januar 2021 nicht das Zieldatum seiner Entmachtung sein darf.

Aus all den zugänglichen Informationen bleibt für mich die Bestätigung, dass dieser Mann ein Krimineller ist. Auf gut Deutsch ein Verbrecher. Die Einschätzung passt bei der ihm drohenden Anklageflut nach dem Ende seiner Präsidentschaft und damit seiner Immunität. Vergewaltigung, Steuerdelikte, Betrug usw.usw..

Bei der Perspektive ist ein ‚rund-um-sich-Schlagen‘ schon fast logisch… zumindest als Folge der Wahrscheinlichkeit eines psychologischen ‚Engpasses ‚. Da er schon nicht die Wahl gewonnen hat, will er den ‚Mythos‘ seiner erneuten Kandidatur 2024 und den Rückhalt bei den Republikanern festigen und mit Widerhaken versehen. Das ist ein virtuelles Pinseln seines Egos mit analogen Folgen – und das ist ihm wichtiger, als alles Andere. Seine ‚Hardcore-Fans‘ stehen immer noch – und wohl  noch weiterhin- im Blendscheinwerfer seiner expressiven Verhaltensweise. Trump erscheint als Manifestierung einer Massensuggestion. Seine aktuellen, linken Tricks werden ihn bei seinen Fans nicht enttarnen, sondern genau das bewirken, was er bezweckt: Das Image eines betrogenen Machers, der nur von denen verstanden wird, die ihm (nahezu bedingungslos) folgen – wenn nötig auch mit der Knarre. 

Das ist nicht nur krank – das ist gefährlich. Wenn er das Weiße Haus -wie auch immer- verlässt, wird er sich -gedanklich oder tatsächlich- umdrehen und den umstrittenen Finger zeigen. Aber soweit ist es noch nicht…

From all the available information I can confirm that this man is a criminal, in plain English a criminal. This assessment fits in with the flood of charges against him after the end of his presidency and thus his immunity. Rape, tax offences, fraud etc. etc.

With the perspective a ‚beating-around‘ is almost logical… at least as consequence of the probability of a psychological ‚bottleneck‘. Since he has already not won the election, he wants to consolidate the ‚myth‘ of his renewed candidacy in 2024 and the support of the Republicans and put barbs on it. This is a virtual brushing of his ego with analogous consequences – and that is more important to him than anything else. His ‚hardcore fans‘ are still – and probably still are – in the glare of his expressive behavior. Trump appears as a manifestation of a mass suggestion. His current, left-wing tricks will not expose him to his fans, but will achieve exactly what he aims for: the image of a deceived maker who is only understood by those who follow him (almost unconditionally) – if necessary with a gun. 

This is not only sick – it is dangerous. When he leaves the White House – however – he will turn around – in thought or in fact – and show the controversial finger. But that is not yet the case…

Allein bei den heutigen Covid-19- Zahlen in den USA (ca.140.000 Infizierte) wird die Absurdität der inhaltlichen Beschäftigung des aktuellen Präsidenten mit der Verbreitung seiner Verschwörungstheorie des Wahlbetruges nicht nur mehr als deutlich, sondern verdient eine deutlichere Bezeichnung: Kriminell.

Wie immer, steht er für sich an erster Stelle und nicht das Allgemeinwohl. Er geht quasi über Leichen. Ca. eine Viertelmillion Corona-Tote … Den Mann weiter bis zum 20. Januar 2021 sein Unwesen treiben zu lassen, ist gelinde gesagt unverantwortlich. Er handelt eindeutig gegen den geleisteten Eid. Er muss aus seinem Amt als Präsident der USA entfernt werden = und zwar sofort!

Gerade jetzt müssen ohne Verzögerung Maßnahmen eingeleitet werden, die die Unkontrollierbarkeit bremsen. Trump wird seiner Aufgabe nicht im Ansatz gerecht … oder anders und deutlicher gesagt: Es ist ihm offensichtlich shit-egal. In Anbetracht der Situation auch noch eine geordnete Amtsübergabe an Biden zu verweigern, kann meiner Forderung kaum mehr Ausdruck verleihen.

Die Situation ist des Landes unwürdig. Die Corona-Dramatik steigt und der grollende Präsident spielt Golf. Das ist keinem denkenden Menschen vermittelbar. Dass das alles verfassungsmäßig komplizierter ist, als hier dargestellt, ist völlig klar. Nur – abzuwarten, bis dieser Trump seine Verzögerungstaktik auf Kosten der Bevölkerung ausgelebt hat, ist -aus meiner Sicht- unterlassene Hilfeleistung. Es ist unverantwortlich…

The absurdity of the current president’s preoccupation with the dissemination of his conspiracy theory of electoral fraud is not only more than clear from the current Covid-19 figures in the USA alone (approx. 140,000 infected persons), but deserves a clearer description: criminal.

As always, he puts himself first and not the common good. He practically walks over dead bodies. About a quarter of a million corona deaths … To let the man continue to be a nuisance until January 20, 2021, is irresponsible to say the least. He is clearly acting against the oath he has taken. He must be removed from his office as President of the USA = and immediately!

Right now, measures must be taken without delay to curb the uncontrollability. Trump does not even begin to do justice to his task … or to put it another way and more clearly: He obviously doesn’t give a damn. In view of the situation, refusing an orderly handover of office to Biden can hardly express my demand.

The situation is unworthy of the country. The corona drama is rising and the rumbling president is playing golf. No thinking person can convey this to anyone. That all this is constitutionally more complicated than it is presented here is absolutely clear. But waiting until this Trump has played out its delaying tactics at the expense of the population is – in my view – a failure to provide assistance. It is irresponsible…

So ein Mensch mit offensichtlichen, psychischen Störungen zum mächtigsten Mann dieses Planeten zu wählen, war und ist immer noch ein Tanz auf der Rasierklinge. Seine Niederlage will er nicht eingestehen. Er brütet aus, wie er sein drohendes Schicksal durch ihm anhängende, juristische Verfahren nach seiner Präsidentschaft (Immunität) zu seinen Gunsten drehen kann. Nun fassen sich zunehmend sogenannte ‚Getreue‘ an den Kopf und fordern Beweise für seine skurrilen Behauptungen. Z.B., dass Verstorbene ihre Stimmen abgaben. Selbst wenn es durch Pannen oder gar Schlamperei einige hundert (oder tausend) solcher Fälle gegeben haben mag, ändert das nichts am Gesamtergebnis. Die Infragestellung des Wahlsystems scheint für Trump wichtig zu sein, um doch irgendwie, wenn auch minimal, recht zu bekommen. Das zornige Kind im Manne…

Das ist alles nicht nur schwer verständlich oder nachvollziehbar, nein, das ist die Bestätigung des o.g. Postulates. Die aktuelle Situation zeigt sehr deutlich, dass es zumindest eine Überlegung wert ist, diesen Mann für amtsunfähig zu erklären – und zwar sofort! Er ist immer noch der Mann, der ‚commander in chief‘ über eine der schlagkräftigsten Armeen und Nukleararsenale der Erde. Er ist nicht nur amtsunfähig, sondern rational nicht (mehr) zurechnungsfähig. The electoral battle has been fought by a majority. In numbers. 70 million Americans who voted for him are disappointed-or feel betrayed, as their president claims without evidence… or both (‚bidens‘). Das daraus in diesem Lande ein ‚Big brother is watching you‘ wird, würde das Aushebeln des Grundgesetzes und der Gewaltenteilung voraussetzen. Vorstellbar ist alles, nur… das bedarf einer Art Phantasie, die in sicherlich unsinnige Verschwörungstheorien mündet. Das lässt sich nahezu unendlich ausmalen.

Dabei sollte es eine Selbstverständlichkeit sein, dass ein Individuum nicht nur sein eigenes Wohlergehen, sondern auch das der Anderen ‚im Auge‘ hat. Es ist richtig, dass die Einhaltung der individuellen Freiheit einer sensiblen Kontrolle zu unterliegen hat und dass das Recht auf Demonstration auch ein Mittel dazu ist, doch… sobald -wie bei Corona- Maßnahmen erforderlich sind, die dem Individuum temporäre Einschränkungen abverlangt, entsteht durch Verständnis und Einhaltung beschlossener Maßnahmen die Notwendigkeit des Schutzes der Menschen. Freiheit bedeutet auch Verantwortung. Politische Entscheider haben im Sinne der Bevölkerung keine andere Wahl, als sich mit Fachleuten (Wissenschaft) zu beraten und auszutauschen und Maßnahmen zum Schutz vor einer nicht mehr kontrollierbaren Situation in Kraft zu setzen.

Einschränkung der Freiheit des Einzelnen zum Schutz der Mitmenschen. Ein gefährlicher Satz, der zweifellos Türen und Tore öffnen kann, wenn er zurechtgebogen wird. Wie schon oben gesagt, schließe ich das in diesem Deutschland aus. Wenn nicht, dann hätte ich Zweifel an diesem demokratischen System ohne funktionierende Gegenvorschläge zu haben. Dieses System ist das pragmatisch ausgeleuchtet beste Konstrukt gesellschaftlichen Zusammenlebens- genannt parlamentarische Demokratie. Nicht perfekt… aber es funktioniert.

Die Stärke einer Gesellschaft liegt darin, eine Solidargemeinschaft zu sein – gerade in der globalen Bedrohung durch eine Pandemie.

The choice between Trump and Biden may seem to some like the choice between plague and cholera – an old metaphor. But for many people, not only Americans, it is a ‚relief‘ when a new president moves into the White House and tries to clean up the garbage of the biggest mistake in the history of the American president. The national and international damage caused by this Trump cannot be removed with a wiping gesture. I will not repeat here in detail the nonsense that this narcissist, liar, demagogue and, in my eyes, criminal has created – all this is more or less known.

It would be completely incomprehensible to me if this bankrupt would be re-elected. Not only would the skepticism towards the great United States of America grow infinitely – no, potentially every American would have this stigma of unrealistically deluded arrogance and the high bridled, high sun-tanned half-knowledge at kindergarten level. We are talking about what is probably the greatest nuclear power.

With Trump’s re-election – as I see it coming – his voters are at least partially voting out American democracy and… give a world power in the fast lane the prospect of the number one podium position: China.

It is more than regrettable that such a prominent country like the USA lets itself be dismantled by such a president in such a way – and simply ignores the further case, if the current ‚Commander-in-Chief‘ can/may continue to fool this planet.

Not only do I wish, but I assume that the US voters will realistically assess the grievances and put an end to their national and international dismantling by voting for Joe Biden. He will be busy – provided he has the good will – to unravel the madness of the past -almost four years.

Der angerichtete nationale und internationale Schaden durch diesen Trump ist nicht mit einer Wischgeste zu beseitigen. Den Schwachsinn, den dieser Narzisst, Lügner, Demagoge und in meinen Augen Kriminelle veranstaltet hat, wiederhole ich hier nicht detailliert – das ist alles mehr oder weniger bekannt.

Komplett unverständlich wird es für mich, wenn dieser Pleitegeier wiedergewählt würde. Nicht nur würde die Skepsis gegenüber den ‚großartigen‘ United States of Amerika ins Unendliche wachsen – nein, potentiell jede|r Amerikaner|in hätte dieses Stigma der unrealitisch verblendeten Arroganz und des hochaufgezäumten, höhensonnengebräunten Halbwissens auf Kindergartenniveau. Die Rede ist von der wohl größten Atommacht.

Mit der Wiederwahl Trumps -so sehe ich das dann kommen- wählen seine Wähler|innen die amerikanische Demokratie mindestens teilweise ab und… verschaffen einer auf der Überholspur fahrenden Weltmacht die Aussicht auf den Podestplatz Nummer eins: China.

Es ist mehr als bedauerlich, dass sich ein so prägnantes Land wie die USA von einem derartigen Präsidenten so demontieren lässt – und den weiteren Fall einfach ignoriert, wenn der jetzige ‚Commander-in-Chief‘ weiterhin diesen Planeten an der Nase herumführen kann/darf.

Trotz oder gerade wegen der voher ausgeführten Befürchtungen wage ich zwei Wochen vor der Wahl eine Prognose:

Ich wünsche mir nicht nur, sondern gehe davon aus, dass die US-Wählerinnen und Wähler die Missstände realistisch bewerten und ihrer nationalen und internationalen Demontage ein Ende setzen, indem sie Joe Biden wählen. Der wird mit -vorausgesetzt- gutem Willen damait beschäftigt sein, den Irrsinn der vergangenen -fast- vier Jahre abzuwickeln.

Und Biden? Aktuell liegt er vorne mit steigender Tendenz. Für ihn dürfte gelten, den Status zu erhalten und zu verteidigen. Das wirkt komfortabel und bedarf keiner größeren Aufregung. Zu sicher sollte er sich aber nicht sein…

Wie zu lesen ist, machte die Moderatorin Savannah Guthrie einen guten Auftritt. Sie benannte Trumps Tweets und Retweets, in und mit denen er seine Lügen und Verschwörungstheorien in die Welt setzte und setzt. Sie sagte:

„Ich verstehe das nicht. Sie sind der Präsident. Sie sind doch nicht irgendein verrückter Onkel, der Quatsch retweeten kann.„

Schon während seiner Covid-19-Infektion keimte die Hoffnung auf, dass Trump sich läutert und von seinem hohen Ross herabsteigt, demütiger und ein pflichtbewusster Präsident wird oder werden könnte. Sein ‚Ausritt‘ mit und in einer Zehn-Wagen-Kolonne zeigt klar und deutlich, dass eine solche Hoffnung eine schillernde Luftblase ist. Eines hat es gelehrt: Wer Covid-19-Patient im Krankenhaus ist und Lust auf einen Ausflug hat, der organisiere so eine Zehn-Wagen-Kolonne mit Secret-Service-Beamten, pfeife auf die Vorsichtsmaßnahmen und schere sich nicht um das Risiko für Andere, denn… es ist ja Wahlkampf. Vorbild hin und her. Aus Schaden klüger werden kann man schließlich später immer noch… aber nur ganz privat und ohne es Andere merken zu lassen.

Das ist die Geistesbrut einer verblendet und zusammenhanglos wirkenden Gegenwart; narzisstisch, verlogen, skrupellos, mit ständigem Fernlicht fahrend und mit einer aufgetürmten Vogelnest-Egomanie. Doch… ignorieren kann man so einen Menschen nicht, denn er ist der Mann mit dem Atomkoffer in seiner Nähe. Es ist eine Tatsche, die man nicht glaubt oder nicht wahrhaben will: Dieser Mann könnte das Leben auf diesem Planeten auslöschen (lassen). Eines der besten Beispiele für die Metapher ‚Streichholz und Benzinkanister‘.

Nicht aus Anstands- oder ‚das-gehört-sich-so‘ -Denken ist es nur menschlich und fair – zu sagen: Gute Besserung!

Even during his Covid 19 infection, hope was already germinating that Trump would purify himself and come down from his high horse, become more humble and a dutiful president, or could become one. His ‚ride‘ with and in a ten-car convoy clearly shows that such hope is a shimmering bubble. One thing it has taught: Anyone who is a Covid 19 patient in the hospital and wants to go for a ride, organize a ten-car convoy with secret service officials, ignore the precautions and don’t care about the risk to others, because… it’s an election campaign. Role model back and forth. After all, you can always become smarter from damage later on… but only privately and without letting others notice.

This is the brood of ideas of a present that seems blinded and incoherent; narcissistic, mendacious, unscrupulous, driving with constant high beams and with a piled up bird’s nest egomania. But… you can’t ignore such a person, because he is the man with the atomic case near him. It is a fact that one does not believe or does not want to believe: this man could extinguish life on this planet. One of the best examples for the metaphor ‚match and petrol can‘.

It is not out of decency or ‚that’s how it should be‘ thinking that it is only human and fair to say: Get well soon!

Meinen bisherigen Beiträgen über den amtierenden US-Präsidenten lassen hier eine abfällige Einschätzung der aktuellen Lage im dortigen Wahlkampf nach der verkündeten Corona-Infektion Trumps und seiner Frau erwarten. Da bin ich zwiespältig. Warum? Weil dieser Mann unkalkulierbar war und ist. Ein Lügner und Sachverdreher par excellence. Ein Staatslenker, der seinem Volk die Wahrheit über die Covid-19-Situation bewusst vorenthält und so weiter… alles mehr oder weniger bekannt.

Zwiespältig? Nach dem Vernehmen der Nachricht (Infektion) drängte sich spontan ein Gedanke in den Vordergrund: Ist das eine ‚Fake-News‘ oder eine Tatsache? Schwer vorstellbar, dass das eine Wahlkampflüge sein könnte, die auf der Mitleidsschiene surft. Ich kam zu dem Schluss, das auszuschließen, denn so ein Gedankengut hat das Zeug, eine Verschwörungstheorie zu werden. Das wäre nicht nur absurd, sondern… ja – verwerflich, obwohl Trumpsche Verhaltens- und Vorgehensweisen für mich nicht nachvollziehbar und regelrecht psychopathisch sind. Da lasse ich die Vorsicht walten und entscheide mich für die sogenannte ’normalmenschliche‘ Denkweise. Diese veranlasst mich, dem Präsidenten Trump und seiner Frau genau das zu wünschen, was ich jedem anderen Covid-19-infizierten Menschen wünsche: Die besten Genesungswünsche !

Eine gegenteilige Sichtweise -wie schon zu lesen ist- halte ich für inhuman. Dass die Genesungswünsche eines einflusslosen, deutschen Bloggers nicht im Weißen Haus oder in dem Krankenhaus bei den Trumps ankommen, ist sowas von klar. Für mich ist das selbstverständlich. Argumentative Gegnerschaft ist keine Feindschaft.

My previous contributions about the incumbent U.S. president lead me to expect a derogatory assessment of the current situation in the election campaign there after the announced corona infection of Trumps and his wife. I am ambivalent about this. Why? Because this man was and is incalculable. A liar and spin doctor par excellence. A state leader who deliberately withholds the truth about the Covid-19 situation from his people and so on… all more or less known.

Ambivalent? After hearing the news (infection), one thought spontaneously came to the fore: Is this a ‚fake news‘ or a fact? Hard to imagine that this could be an election campaign flight surfing on the sympathy line. I came to the conclusion to rule that out, because such an idea has the potential to become a conspiracy theory. That would not only be absurd, but… yes – reprehensible, even though Trump’s behavior and procedures are incomprehensible and downright psychopathic for me. So I let my caution prevail and decide for the so-called ’normal human‘ way of thinking. This leads me to wish President Trump and his wife exactly what I wish every other Covid-19-infected person: Best wishes of recovery!

A contrary point of view – as I have already read – I consider inhumane. That the recovery wishes of an uninfluenced German blogger do not reach the White House or the hospital at the Trumps is so clear. For me it is a matter of course. Argumentative opposition is not hostility.

Another attempt to translate one of my poems into (American) English. The occasion is the first TV duel of the presidential candidates in the US-American election campaign. Why an older poem? Quite simple: It is so easy to recognize a timeless relationship between the statements. Discussion turns into duel or vice versa and lo and behold – everything works as always… seemingly harmless and yet rehearsed relentlessly.

Wieder ein Versuch, eines meiner Gedichte ins (amerikanische) Englisch zu übertragen. Anlass dafür ist das erste TV-Duell der Präsidentschaftskandidaten im US-amerikanischen Wahlkampf. Warum ein älteres Gedicht? Ganz einfach: Es ist so einfach, eine zeitlose Beziehung der Aussagen zu erkennen. Aus Diskussion wird Duell oder umgekehrt und siehe da – alles wirkt wie immer… scheinbar harmlos und dabei einstudiert unerbittlich.
