Dieses Thema interessiert aktuell wohl kaum noch jemanden, doch … es gibt noch hunderttausende oder millionen Nutzer/User, die aber genau das noch interessiert (mich inclusive):

Blackberry-Angaben (Pressseabteilung) zufolge sollen sich die Smartphones nach dem 04.01.2022 selbst für Telefonate, Versand und Empfang von SMS-Mitteilungen, ja .. und selbst für Notrufe nicht mehr verwenden lassen.

Das halte ich für ziemlichen Unfug, da das mit den Diensten und Servern von Blackberry prinzipiell nichts zutun hat. Einfache Frage: Was hat die Telefonfunktion mit Smartphone-Dienste-Apps zutun? Antwort: In dem Zusammenhang einfach nichts! Markentreue und übereugte Nutzer der Geräte dieses Herstellers wird das totale ‚Aus‘ suggeriert, nachdem sie sowieso mit ihren nicht gerade billigen Geräten im Regen stehen bleiben. Also… da stellt sich die Frage, warum so ein Unsinn offiziell verbreitet wird? Absicherung vor eventuellen Regressen oder Problemen jeglicher, damit zusammenhängender Art? Von Nutzern/Kunden, die solche Aussagen für bare Münze nehmen, weil sie nicht hinter die ‚technischen Kulissen‘ sehen (können). Das ist es doch, was Techkonzerne sehr oder extrem gut beherrschen und praktizieren. Alles schön bunt und noch verführerischer … das will die Kundschaft. Meine Güte, was müssen diese Verführer Bewegungen wie ‚Digital Detox‘ hassen.

Blackberry kann und wird seine Dienste kappen, doch nicht das, was eigentlich ein Telefon ausmacht: Die Telefon- und die daran gekoppelte SMS-Funktion. Stutzig macht, das selbst die Notruffunktion nicht mehr funktionieren soll. Schon an dem -ich nenne das mal Blödsinn- erkennt der aufmerksame Mensch, dass sich das tatsächlich niemand leisten kann, denn das wäre nicht nur dreist, sondern -vorsichtig gesagt- nicht im Interesse der Menschen allgemein.

Was bleibt also noch für die Nutzerinnen und Nutzer der Geräte, die nicht permanent auf Glas tippen und die diesem Mainstream nicht folgen wollen? Ich wage zu sagen: Nach dem Abschalten der Blackberry-Dienste für OS10 werden die Grundfunktionen eines Telefons weiterhin funktionieren. Wem das genügt, der findet wieder mehr Zeit für sich selbst und betreibt eine Entflechtung aus dem Spinnennetz der zwangssuggerierten, permanenten Beschäftigung mit einem Blendwerk, das keinen Schlaf braucht, sondern regemäßig -> eine Steckdose…

This topic is probably of little interest to anyone at the moment, but … there are still hundreds of thousands or millions of users who are still interested in exactly this (including me):

According to Blackberry information (Press department), the smartphones after 04.01.2022 even for phone calls, sending and receiving SMS messages, yes … and even for emergency calls can no longer be used.

I think this is quite nonsense, since it has nothing to do with Blackberry’s services and servers. Simple question: What does the phone function have to do with smartphone services apps? Answer: Simply nothing in this context! Brand loyalists and over-enthusiastic users of this manufacturer’s devices are suggested the total ‚off‘, after they are left out in the cold with their not exactly cheap devices anyway. So… the question arises, why such nonsense is officially spread? Protection against possible recourse or problems of any kind connected with it? From users/customers who take such statements at face value because they don’t (can’t) see behind the ‚technical scenes‘. That’s what tech companies are very or extremely good at and practice. Everything nice and colorful and even more seductive … that’s what the customers want. My goodness, how much these seducers must hate movements like ‚Digital Detox‘.

Blackberry can and will cut services, but not what actually makes a phone: The telephone and the associated SMS function. It is surprising that even the emergency call function will no longer work. The attentive person already recognizes from this – I’ll call it nonsense – that no one can actually afford it, because that would not only be brazen, but – to put it cautiously – not in the interest of people in general.

So what is left for the users of the devices who do not tap permanently on glass and who do not want to follow this mainstream? I dare to say: After the Blackberry services for OS10 are shut down, the basic functions of a phone will still work. If that is enough for you, you will find more time for yourself again and do an unraveling from the spider web of force-suggested, permanent occupation with a dazzle that does not need sleep, but regularly -> a plug…
