Der sechste Weltklimabericht der Intergovernment Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), eine Institution der Vereinten Nationen (UN), in dem z.Z. 195 Länder Mitglied sind, legte darin den Schwerpunkt auf das sogenannte ‚Best-Case-Szenario‘. Also dass eine Erderhitzung unter der Pariser Zielmarke von 1,5 º zur Weltrettung erreicht werden könnte. Eine solche (gedachte) Zeitenwende des Planeten hat eine Bezeichnung gefunden: „positives Narrativ“. Das als mehrheitliches Wunschdenken und damit als realitätsfern zu bezeichnen, entspricht nicht dem Zeitgeist des ‚Best-Case-Szenario‘, einer positiven Vision also. In dem Sinne ein Hoffen auf menschliche Einsichten und einer entsprechenden Verhaltensweise.
Das ‚Worst-Case-Szenario‘ sind apokalyptische Zustände und Ereignisse, wie sie tatsächlich gegenwärtig vermehrt zu sehen sind; wie in der Offenbarung des Johannes im Neuen Testament der christlichen Bibel zu lesen ist. Von Kriegen, Hungersnöten, Seuchen, Feuersbrünsten und Katastrophen ist da für die drastisch dargestellte Endzeit die Rede. Nur – die Ursache ist da der christliche Gott und nicht die menschengemachte- und verursachte Erderwärmung mit all diesen Folgen. Die Ursachen sind also unterschiedlich; die beschriebenen und heute erlebbaren Szenarien sind nahezu oder tatsächlich deckungsgleich. Ein ’negatives Narrativ‘. Hier stehen sich zwei Sichtweisen gegenüber – ist das Glas halb voll oder halb leer?
Wie eingangs beschrieben, definiert der Weltklimabericht das Glas als halb voll, und die allseits wahrgenommene Realität ist als halb leer oder noch leerer zu sehen. Die Frage bleibt, ob das überhaupt etwas mit ‚Gott‘ zutun hat oder einzig und allein ein menschengamachtes Problem ist? Mystik, Spekulation oder Realität… das ist hier die Frage. Oder eigentlich gar nicht mehr. Es ist Realität und die auslösende ‚Einheit‘ ist der Mensch! (Die religiöse Sichtweise – Gott, Himmel, Hölle, Fegefeuer, kirchliche Definitionen usw. habe ich hinreichend in meinem Buch „Futur X – Die freie Auswahl“ behandelt und soll hier des Umfanges wegen nicht weiter ausgeführt werden).
Nun sollte die Message nicht weder das Eine noch das Andere sein. Eine Mentalitäts- oder gar Glaubensfrage? Wird bei der ‚Worst-Case-‚ die ‚Best-Case‘– Betrachtung vernachlässigt oder sogar ausgeklammert, dann wird es dunkel. Dunkel in einem Boot, in dem recht viele ‚Schunkler‘ sitzen, die das Boot und damit auch sich selber zum Kentern bringen können.
Ist in diesem Kontext ein positives Narrativ – Blauäugigkeit? Die ‚Schunkler‘ müssen beruhigt und von der Notwendigkeit ihrer Einsicht überzeugt werden, wenn die ‚Reise‘ weitergehen soll. Reden und Handeln in der richtigen Reihenfolge … aber mit überlebenswichtigem Nachdruck. Denn : Das Glas ist sowohl halb voll als auch halb leer…

The sixth world climate report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), an institution of the United Nations (UN), in which 195 countries are currently members, focused on the so-called ‚best-case scenario‘. That is, that a global warming below the Paris target of 1.5 º to save the world could be achieved. Such a (imagined) turning point of the planet has found a name: ‚positive narrative‘. To call this wishful thinking by the majority and thus unrealistic does not correspond to the zeitgeist of the ‚best case scenario‘, a positive vision that is. In this sense a hope for human insights and a corresponding behavior.
The ‚worst case scenario‘ are apocalyptic conditions and events, as they are to be seen actually at present increasingly; as in the revelation of John in the New Testament of the Christian Bible is to be read. There is the speech of wars, famines, epidemics, conflagrations and catastrophes for the drastically represented end time. Only – the cause is there the Christian God and not the man-made and caused global warming with all these consequences. So the causes are different; the described and today experienced scenarios are almost or actually congruent. A ’negative narrative‘. Here, two views oppose each other – is the glass half full or half empty?
As described at the beginning, the world climate report defines the glass as half full, and the universally perceived reality is to be seen as half empty or even emptier. The question remains whether this has anything at all to do with ‚God‘ or is solely a man-made problem? Mysticism, speculation or reality… that is the question here. Or actually no more at all. It is reality and the triggering ‚unit‘ is the man! (The religious point of view – God, heaven, hell, purgatory, ecclesiastical definitions etc. I have treated sufficiently in my book „Futur X – The free choice“ and shall not be elaborated here because of the extent).
Now the message should not be neither one nor the other. A question of mentality or even faith? If the worst-case scenario is neglected or even excluded from the best-case scenario, then things will get dark. Darkness in a boat in which there are quite a few ’skippers‘ who can capsize the boat and thus also themselves.
In this context, is a positive narrative – blueness? The ’skunks‘ must be reassured and convinced of the need for their insight if the ‚journey‘ is to continue. Talk and action in the right order … but with vital emphasis. Because : The glass is both half full and half empty….
