Das Gedicht ‚Jäger II‘ knüpft an mein Gedicht ‚Jäger‘ an – eine nicht nur numerische Abfolge. Der Versuch, das reimend ins Englische zu bringen, ist wiederholt nicht geglückt. Sorry vorab an meine englischsprachigen Leser|innen.
Jäger II
Noch immer streift durch Wald und Feld
die Jägerschaft mit Mordgelüsten
kein Argument sich angesellt
mit Empathie sich aufzurüsten
Ein Wildtier ist kein Lebewesen
hat keine Intensivstation
wird weggefegt mit stählern Besen
durch Jägers ballernde Schwadron
das Tiere eine Seele haben

gilt als bewiesen ist zu sagen
das ignoriert des Jägers Hybris

Hunter II
Still roams through forest and field
