Wieder ein SE. Nein… Kein iPhone SE, sondern ein Passport-SE. Nicht Apple, sondern BlackBerry. Kein modern aktuelles Branding, sondern ein Betriebssystem, das knallhart aussortiert und eingestampft wurde. Ein Betriebssystem, das der Markt nicht akzeptiert hat. Warum? Nicht genügend apps… Nicht multimedial genug… Business -Image… Und dann auch noch nicht viel von dem , was den modernen Menschen anspricht; also Spiele, Videos, AR(Augmented Reality) und.. und…
Was interessiert schon ein Smartphone, das für echte Produktivität ausgelegt ist und ein sicheres Betriebssystem hat? Das BB10. Genau das, was der Hersteller eingestampft hat, weil Android profittauglicher ist. Allerdings löchrig wie ein Schweizer Käse. Gut, das ist wahrscheinlich subjektiv.. oder doch nicht so ganz? Immerhin hat BlackBerry das Android modifiziert – auf Sicherheit getrimmt, wie es heißt. Android ist Google. Da weiß man, dass die Daten nachhaltig gespeichert sind. Das ist moderne Sicherheit – Datensicherheit. Virtuelle Datensicherheit in irgendeiner Cloud. Was damit passiert – oder wie die Daten verwendet werden… Wen interessiert das schon, wenn Suchmaschinen und Messenger so gnädig kostenlos angeboten werden? Das ist ein absolut erträgliches Geschäftsmodell – milliardenschwer. Solange ‚alle ‚ darauf abfahren…
WhatsApp und Instagram gehören zu Facebook. Google ist Google. Konzerne, die so in einer Demokratie gar nicht existieren dürften. Konzerne, die damit eine Machtposition erlangt haben, die nicht mehr mit der Würde des Menschen vereinbar ist, weil sie nicht mit offenen Karten spielen. Auch alles nur subjektiv und nur von der freien Meinungsäußerung gedeckt? Wie lange noch, wenn diese Konzerne die KI immer weiter perfektionieren. So weit, dass Orwell prähistorisch wirkt…
Was hat das mit meinem SE zutun? Ganz einfach : Die Orientierung an den Bedürfnissen, die für mich zielführend sind und den suggerierten ‚Klimbimballast‘ einfach beiseite schieben. Ich mag einfach nicht auf Glas tippen, wenn ich die Möglichkeit habe, eine physische Tastatur zu benutzen. Dazu eine, die kapazitiv auch noch als Trackpad fungiert.
Die Smartphone -Welt kann so schön einfach sein, wenn mensch einfach die suggerierte PR hinterfragt und dann vielleicht zu ganz anderen Ergebnissen für sich selber kommt – auch und natürlich im Sinne des Planeten.

What’s the point of a smartphone designed for real productivity and with a secure operating system? The BB10. Exactly what the manufacturer has stamped in, because Android is more profitable. But it’s full of holes like a Swiss cheese. Well, that’s probably subjective… or not quite? After all, BlackBerry has modified the android – trimmed for security, as they say. Android is Google. You know that the data is stored permanently. This is modern security – data security. Virtual data security in any cloud. What happens with it – or how the data is used… Who cares if search engines and messengers are so graciously offered for free? This is an absolutely tolerable business model – worth billions. As long as ‚everybody‘ likes it…

Corporations that have thus attained a position of power that is no longer compatible with human dignity because they do not play with open cards. What does that have to do with my SE? Very simple: The orientation on the needs, which are goal-oriented for me and simply push aside the suggested ‚junk mail ballast‘. I just don’t like to tap on glass when I have the possibility to use a physical keyboard. Plus one that also functions capacitively as a trackpad.
The smartphone world can be so simple if you just question the suggested PR and then perhaps arrive at completely different results for yourself – also and of course in the interest of the planet.
