Der Spruch wird semantisch sowas von deutlich, wenn man den Leinenführer des amerikanischen Vizepräsidenten vor Augen hat. Was will man verlangen, wenn der Chef ein verurteilter Straftäter und jemand ist, der keinen Millimeter Abstand von seinen noch so irren Vorgaben duldet. Dann hat man gute Karten, wenn man Europäer und speziell Deutsche derart beschimpft, dass sie die Meinungsfreiheit missachten und über- oder umgehen. Solche und ähnliche – wohl verpackte- Entgleisungen lässt Herr Vance wie aus Trumps Mund erklingen. Das ist schon eine ziemliche Frechheit, zumal sich solche ‚Möchtegernkönige‘ auf politisch/gesellschaftlich höchstem Niveau bewegen. Ein US-Vizepräsident ist in München/Deutschland, kontaktiert die rechtsradikale AfD-Vorsitzende und nicht einmal den noch amtierenden, deutschen Regierungschef. Die Ohrfeige war nicht nur in Deutschland zu hören. Dass ein Titel nicht vor Niederfrequenz schützt, brauchte dieser ‚Vize‘ ja nur nachahmen. Für die Karriere wurde schon immer über viele Schatten gesprungen. Nur – die ganze Rede des Herrn Vance war keine Show, sondern .. da wird gemeint, was gesagt wird, koste es, was und auch wen es wolle. Die USA sind keine Regionalmacht, sondern eine, die den gesamten Planeten zerstören kann. Da ist Fingerspitzengefühl gefragt und keine inhaltlich rüpelhafte Rhetorik und arrogantes Verhalten im Softlook.
Ich erspare mir hier weitere Details – das erledigen die nicht amerikanisch gearteten, seriösen Medien in diesem Lande. Soviel sei gesagt: Es kann nur wünschenswert sein, dass am 23. Februar 2025 in Deutschland ein Regierungschef der Parteien der Mitte gewählt wird, der im In- und Ausland anständig und fair auftritt und dieses Land adäquat vertritt.

The saying becomes so semantically clear when you have the American vice president’s leash leader in mind. What can you ask for when the boss is a convicted criminal and someone who won’t tolerate a millimeter of distance from his guidelines, no matter how insane. Then you have a good hand when you insult Europeans and especially Germans in such a way that they disregard freedom of expression and override or circumvent it. Mr. Vance lets such and similar – well-packaged – derailments come out of Trump’s mouth. That’s pretty cheeky, especially as such ‚would-be kings‘ operate at the highest political/social level A US vice president is in Munich/Germany, contacts the radical right-wing AfD chairwoman and not even the German head of government, who is still in office. The slap in the face was not only heard in Germany. This ‚vice‘ only had to imitate the fact that a title does not protect against low frequency. People have always jumped over many shadows to further their careers. Only – Mr. Vance’s entire speech was not a show, but … he meant what he said, no matter what or who he said it to. The USA is not a regional power, but one that can destroy the entire planet. This calls for tact and not boorish rhetoric and arrogant behavior with a soft look.
I will spare you any further details here – the non-American, reputable media in this country will take care of that. This much can be said: it can only be desirable that on February 23, 2025, a head of government from a centrist party is elected in Germany who will act decently and fairly at home and abroad and adequately represent this country.
