Wenn die Erkenntnis (oder auch Vermutung) eine Art Grunddirektive wäre, dann sähe es auf diesem blauen Planeten anders aus.

Thinking is a component of an inexplicable substance. From this one is justified to the conclusion that the beings, which lose one of these qualities, lose at the same time also the substance, to which it belongs, that therefore the death is only a separation of the substance, and that the beings, in which are composed at the substances, to which these two qualities belong.

(Correction: …and that the beings composed of both substances….)
If the realization (or even assumption) was a kind of basic directive, then things would look different on this blue planet.
