„Ein kluger Kopf passt in keinen Helm.“ ―Albert Einstein

Ob sie (Frau Dr. Angela Merkel) das auch alles so mag, kann und mag ich nicht beurteilen. Dieses zackig militärisch martiale Gehabe der Menschendressur. Eine solch inhaltliche Einschätzung wird wohl auch der o.g. Zitatgeber so gesehen haben.

Beim Betrachten des ‚Großen Zapfenstreiches‘ für die geschäftsführende Bundeskanzlerin heute Abend (02.12.2021) erinnerte ich mich an meine eigene Teilnahme an einem Zapfenstreich vor genau 50 Jahren als Rekrut der Bundeswehr zur Vereidigung – mit Gänsehauteffekt. Der dem vorausgegangene Drill, der Gehorsam. das Ernste, das Synchrone, das Getrommel und Geblase, der Gleichschritt, das euphemistisch Martiale der gespielten Liebe zum Gewehr (der ‚Braut des Soldaten‘) und so weiter…

Nach 16 Jahren als -wie sie sagte- oberste ‚Sachbearbeiterin‘ dieses Landes steht ihr eine Ehrung und Würdigung ihrer Arbeit zu. Sie hat die genannte Version gewählt. Unwichtig, ob ich ihr das zugestehe oder nicht. Bei natürlich auch bestehender, deutlicher Kritik hat sie dieses Land durch stürmische Gewässer geführt, ohne sich ständig in den Vordergrund zu spielen. Historiker werden das wissenschaftlich aufarbeiten. Ich allerdings – war nicht ihr Fan, erkenne aber ihre Leistung an. So -denke ich- muss oder sollte es nicht nur in einer Demokratie sein. Ich gönne ihr die ‚roten Rosen‘.

Als ’staatlich anerkannter Pazifist‘ ist mir das rudimentäre, militärische Gehabe mit Einbindung der Religiösität suspekt und nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Ja, das oben genannte Zitat ist mehr als deutlich und auch provokativ – aber sehr zukunftsorientiert gedacht.

Eine derart gesetzte Zielrichtung braucht keinen Gleichschritt und kein ‚Helm ab zum Gebet‘...

Whether she (Dr. Angela Merkel) likes it all that way, I cannot and do not judge. This jagged military martial posturing of the human dressage. Such a contentwise estimate will probably have seen also the above-mentioned quote giver in such a way.

Watching the ‚Grand Taps‘ for the managing Chancellor tonight (02.12.2021) I remembered my own participation in a taps exactly 50 years ago as a recruit of the Bundeswehr for the swearing-in – with goose bumps effect. The drill preceding it, the obedience. the seriousness, the synchronous, the drumming and blowing, the lockstep, the euphemistic martial of the played love for the rifle (the ’soldier’s bride‘) and so on…

After 16 years as -as she said- the top ‚clerk‘ of this country, she is entitled to an honor and appreciation of her work. She has chosen the aforementioned version. It doesn’t matter whether I grant her that or not. With, of course, existing, clear criticism, she has led this country through stormy waters without constantly playing herself into the foreground. Historians will scientifically reappraise this. I, however – was not her fan, but recognize her achievement. So -I think- it must or should be not only in a democracy.I grudge her the ‚red roses‘.

As a ’state-recognized pacifist‘, the rudimentary, military posturing with the integration of religiosity is suspicious to me and no longer in keeping with the times. Yes, the above-mentioned quotation is more than clear and also provocative – but very future-oriented thought.

A goal set in such a way needs no lockstep and no ‚helmet off for prayer‘….
