Ich bin nicht derjenige, der gerne Zitate bloggt, doch das hat mich heute beeindruckt:

(Nachdem Sie während Ihrer gesamten Präsidentschaft das Feuer der weißen Vorherrschaft und des Rassismus geschürt haben, haben Sie den Nerv, moralische Überlegenheit vorzutäuschen, bevor Sie mit Gewalt drohen? Wenn die Plünderung beginnt, beginnt die Schießerei? Wir werden Sie im November abwählen.)

Ob das Wirkung zeigt? Das ganz harte Fan-Zentrum wird weiterhin treu zu ihrem ‚Commander in chief‘ stehen oder sich sogar bestätigt fühlen, ihm zu folgen.

Die zitierte, prominente Lady hat den Nagel auf den Kopf getroffen: Das, wovon ein denkender Mensch erstmal nur träumen kann: Abwahl oder Impeachement. Letzteres erscheint irreal bei den Machtverhältnissen – Abwahl ist wahrscheinlicher, auch wenn sich der Märchenprinz im Weißen Haus mit dem Rücken zur Wand sieht. Wer den in Amerika nach wie vor nicht zu besiegenden Rassismus schnoddrig offen noch anstachelt, der ist ein vorsätzlicher Brandstifter und narzisstischer Demagoge, der nur eines im Kalkül hat: Sich und seine quasi geisteskranke Selbstverliebtheit.

I am not the one who likes to blog quotes, but that impressed me today:

I wonder if that’ll work. The very hard fan center will continue to be loyal to their ‚Commander in Chief‘ or even feel confirmed to follow him.

The quoted prominent lady hit the nail on the head: That which a thinking person can only dream of at first: voting out or impeaching. The latter seems unreal in the balance of power – voting out is more likely when Prince Charming sees his back to the wall in the White House. Anyone who openly and brashly instigates racism, which is still unconquerable in America, is a deliberate arsonist and narcissistic demagogue who has only one thing in mind: himself and his quasi-mad self-infatuation.
